What happens to everything you know when you’re not there to share it? What happens to your photos, documents, and personal story?
We thought about that, too. So we built a place for it.
We are working parents navigating careers, raising young children, and watching our own parents age without plans in place. We are the generation caught in the middle — responsible for everyone, prepared for nothing. And we knew we weren’t alone.
When we looked for a solution, we found tools built for estate attorneys, extensive paperwork, and compounding fees. Nothing for ordinary people. Nothing that captured who you actually are — your voice, your humor, your love, the things your family will desperately want to hold on to when you are no longer here.
So we built what we needed.
Tether is for the mother who wants her daughter to hear her voice on her wedding day — whether she is there or not. For the father whose family spent months searching for an insurance policy that should have taken minutes to find. For the parent who has thought about what they want their children to know but has never had a simple, beautiful place to put it. And for the person who has spent a lifetime building relationships, wisdom, and memories worth passing on — and wants every person who matters to receive exactly what was meant for them.
It is for anyone who has ever thought: I really need to get my things in order — and then life got in the way again.
We believe preparation is one of the deepest forms of love. That the greatest gift you can give the people you care about is clarity — not chaos — in the moments that matter most.
That is what Tether is. That is why we built it.
